Default 94 scarab thunder info?

Hello, I been looking at a local scarab for sale. Twin 454 with bravo drives. Does anyone own this boat? If so please share your opinions on this model?

A lot of people call the 31s 33 due to the overall length with platform.

The 31 hulls were pretty consistent design wise over the years. They are a good riding/handling boat. They are pretty big feeling. The "Thunder" was really just a trim package. I assume the 454s are Mags? If so, and in good mechanical condition should run upper 60s close to 70. Fair amount of wood in the builds back then, so keep that in mind as you are looking at things. I have seen some soft in the cockpit sole behind the removable section, so that would something to check.

Hey Nick, I own a 1994 Thunder edition ( cyclic fade ) graphics. It would have been a 31' boat with a factory swim platform (bolt on but look integrated) which makes it 33'. Could I ask what the person was asking for that one? I'm getting ready to put mine up for sale and I'm not sure what a good price is. Yes they do have transom issues. Mine got rot in it, found it when I replaced the gimbal housing and it had started to travel up the main stringer, they cored it and caped it when the transom was replaced. 454 Mag's were base engines and with the 502MPI's I run 73 with bravo 1 4 blades.
