Does Wellcraft still have the archive where you can get info/brochure stuff on older boats? I was trying to find out what my 94 38 Thunder weighs. Cant seem to find the page on their website . . . .

NADA guide boats gets you pretty close. I transport 3-4 boats a month and use them to estimate weight. Usually pretty accurate. They claim 9100lbs+-. for yours. W

cool, thanks. just picked up a 12K hydro hoist just wanted to make sure im in range :D
i think i heard the Thunder series was lighter. I actually kinda hope not, hell i went back to an old straight bottom resin bucket to have a good crusher for lake Erie :D |

I weighted mine to make sure 3 weeks ago! 14200 !

The Wellcraft brochure for the 1991 38 Thunder lists 9100 lbs Dry weight.

In the 2000 brochure they list the 38 AVS at 12,200 LBS dry and they were lighter than the old straight bottoms at least that's what they said. Everything that Wellcraft built was heavy.
