What about the rear transom ?

I will have the exhaust tips and swim platform off soon, what to look for then?

The transom will not tell you anything. It is solid plywood. They only cored the sides. They also used vinylester resin on the Kevlar composite boats which is better and stronger than polyester but not as strong as epoxy. Another place you can sometimes see is if they cut a hole in the cockpit liner close to the top by the gas fill to get better access to the gas fill hose clamp and ground wire. Need a flashlight on that one. Hope this helps
