Default Excel v/s Thunder

I can not tell the difference between a 38 Excel and a 38 Thunder, there has to be right??

I have a 38 Thunder and have been trying to figure it out to. I was told the Thunders were laid up slighty lighter (like two hundred pounds or so) not sure about the rest of it though.
