More like years of neglect and oil leaks. I just pulled the fuel tank and it was wet under the tank and foam. That's what you see.

Well all the wood was replace up to the dash at this point. Waiting for spring to finish the rest of the stringers forward. Next is restyle the dash and back end of the boat and then paint.

Great looking work!! I have owned 3 or 4 26 cv’s over the last 20 years are so. Owned one with 600sc and bravo. Ran 96. For its size a great riding boat in the rough. Thank you for saving another Scarab. Definitely a labor of love.

I have rerigged many Scarabs but never to the extent you and hblair. My current Viper started as a bare hull but only had to replace a couple stringers not the whole grid like you guys. Cheering you on!!!
