I know this has probably been asked, are started in the past! But has anyone missed with the 29 and a nose cone on the stock bravo set up? I'm pushing 550-600 hp and boat feels like it's in a slump! Woundering if it would help are hurt it?? I know a shorty would be best, but for the money can there be gains!

Lots of factors go into performance gains, so there could be a number of things limiting you, prop selection being a big one, but for the most part, unless you are above 70mph top end, a nose cone will not help, and on deep mounted drives, dont necessarily provide much benefit either.
On the 29s one thing that can contribute to hindering performance gains, is the molded in wedges on the bottom of the boat at the transom/strakes. Depending on where your hull is running in the water at your given HP/top end, they may be keeping your hull from freeing up a bit.
