38 AVS. Should the inspection holes line up with the sending units in the tanks? Opened up the inspection covers to remove sending units so I could inspect the insides of the tanks. But they don't line up with the sending units. Considered cutting new ones and filling the old ones.

Didn't know there was a 38 AVS in town.....I live in South Shore Marina, sold my Vice 38KV two years ago, looking for a 38 AVS or 43' Scarab next.....
