1985 Scarab 1 engine hatch
Hey all was wondering if someone who ownes one of these can help me out. I’m needing to rebuild my hatch that someone botched up with 1” pine boards. Can anyone send me photos of what the original inner core was made from. Any help would be great.

Scarab 1 Hatch
I’m in the same boat so’s to speak. My original hatch is toast. It appears to have been 3/4” plywood with some resin on it, but is badly rotted. I’m intending to add a latch and gas struts when I rebuild it using NidaCore.
