I have a 98 scarab 302 with twin mercury 250 efis.. the factory gauges are mostly not working and are pretty worn out looking. Anyone have recommendations to where to order gauges that will be compatible with 98 mercury efis. I believe they are before smart craft or anything digital.

Correct, Smartcraft not compatible until the final generation of the EFI motors ~2002-2005. You're going to be fine with any analog gauges, depending on price and preference. Livorsi, AutoMeter, Gaffrig, Faria, etc.
