Here are the 2007 Evinrude E-Tec 300 model numbers so you're able to see which ones you've got. I run twin 2001 Yamaha V-250 OX66, so they're a different kind of 2-stroke, on a
Larry Smith Team Scarab 31 flat-deck. You'll have to live with yanking those caps off to fill oil, but the 300 hours or 3 years of service intervals is a sweet thing. I had an Evinrude 225 H.O.
E-Tec on a ski boat and I find these newer Evinrude E-Tec motors to be a great product, especially for the money now that they're discontinued. Keep us posted on your experience with
this great classic.

That's great news. Many 302 Sport owners have put heavy Mercury Verado motors on and have had to move lots of weight forward. However the lighter E-Tec, moving batteries forward,
Bravo 1 props and K planes should make this a great running boat. Plenty of torque with those engines, quiet and pretty economical. Most guys that sell their 302 Sport regret it.
This should be a keeper and will certainly even appreciate in value as new center console boats get priced into the stratosphere. Though I love how my Scarab 31 runs, imho the Scarab
9 Meter derived 302 Sport has the best-looking hull design though, of all of Larry Smith's creations. Happy Labor Day Boating Weekend.

Boat has 14x23 4 blades now, forget name I gotta get that. Didn't really take any notes yet as far as performance, I would assume it should run low 60's? Cruise around 50 ish is what I would think to make hull do its job?
this came from panther hull correct? Larry smith designed? That would explain why they rude well, I got lucky and got one with solid stringers and transom, rare case lol

Cleaned up real nice! Boat has been well taken care of minimal buff and polish for these results, bottom paint was put on a few years ago I wish they didn't... I will deal with that over winter. The boat don't even have stress cracks in liner which is nice..

in 1975; he called it the 9 Meter. 29'6" length, 8"0" beam and 24 degrees. Many deck designs by Wellcraft were put on this hull and yes, the Panther was one of those. Here's hull #5 of the Team Scarab 9 Meter.
