Thanks for the link, good info. Is there a more active Scarab discussion board anywhere on the net?

I see you're a newbie. There's www.boatered.com and there's www.speedwake.com It's hard to find 'Scarab-Only' content. I almost popped for a solid red '89 Scarab III, and actually saw that boat apparently with it's new owner last w/e idling down the channel past our place for 1/2 hour. It made me glad I chose what we got now.

This site has been doing well, but of late appears inclined to more menu-driven price options for access.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I noticed, I couldn't even start a new thread w/o purchasing a membership. I am new...I just bought a 95' Scarab 22 with a 454, my first boat of this nature.
