Here's a few from the 2004 Catalina Ski Race, I pulled doubles, I had just met the skiers on Friday night at the drivers meeting, and we ended up getting a first place trophy for our class and made the run with no spills in a 1hr and 24min, avg. speed was 43mph.
What a blast, those guys skied their asses off, I can honestly say I was having a great time, once I crossed the finish line

I have had a little experience with trying to make 29's run better. The first was a 29 with small blocks. The bottom was in bad shape. The boat picked up 3-4mph by blueprinting the bottom.
The next is a 29 with 810hp engine, and Imco short drive. The boat will run just over 80.
These hulls are hard to make fast, but they are solid.

This my new buy from this year.
I dont know if they are still popular but i like mine.
This is a 1994 Scarab 29 with merc 525sc single engine setup. He hit 70mph gph with bravo 1 26p lab prop.
I have got 72 in good condition.
