Default Anyone interested in a MINT 29 scarab

I have a deal working on a spectre cat and am possibly trading my 98 29' twin small block scarab. Boat is mint with approx 200 hours, loaded with options k-planes, indicators etc.. triple axel trailer and is a 10 on a 1-10 and needs nothing. If interested please let me know. Would rather see an OSO'r get it then the dealer get to profit twice from the transaction. If interested please email me at [email protected].

Your absolutely right on buying right now. It seems to be a buyers market right now. I'm wanting a Top Gun myself with the kind of water I run in around here. The wife doesn't want to get knocked around anymore than necessary.

I've seen 29's selling for next to nothing. I already know I'll be lucky if I see pay off on mine. I have already dumped about 35K into mine but know I'll never see any of it. I hope you do sell yours. It will give me an idea of what the market is doing on 29's. I have seen some Scarabs for selling for barely book value in some cases.

From what I have seen, the market for 94 to 97's are going from between 36 and 45k. The thing is though, I have not seen very many of them selling recently. I will be asking around 45 for mine , but that will barely meet payoff. I know your is really clean and I hope you get what your looking for. We all get raped when we try to trade them in anyway.

Good luck selling and let me know what you get for yours. By the way, what are you looking to get for yours?

Specs on mine are as follows:
96 29 Scarab

Whipple charged 502mpi, total rebuild 2002 zero gap rings, HP gold roller rockers
Stainless marine exhaust, Gil sea strainers. Full dual ram hydraulic steering system from IMCO.
All new 2002 dash panels with bezels and Livorsi gauges with GPS speedo with recall. 2002 Racing shifters with built in trim.
1000 watts stereo system
2003 new inerior.

In the shop right now installing Stellings extension box.

So , I have spent way too much for selling it, but its not exaclty what I want. Good luck again sellig yours.

thanks...not that the single big blocks arent nice, everyone i've spoken with says that the twin small blocks are the hot ticket...mine's 100% stock untouched. real $$$, not inflated figures i've been offered as high as $45K..in the spring my 98 should bring $48-$52K with this equip and trailer.

I hope you get every penny you ask for. I think your right on the twins. When I was shopping I traveled quite a bit and didn't want the maintenance at the time. The 29 was the biggest boat you could get in a single configuration when I was shopping.

And its done a HELL of a job in the water I run in!

Sounds like a nice boat, I sent your info on to a buddy that we are trying to convince its time to move up! He is not on OSO but I emailed him the info. He is J. Pratt if you hear from him....
