Hi
What kind of RPM are you turning at WOT? You want it to be at the upper end of the recommened range. On a 330, I believe it is 4800RPM or so. Most gear ratios on stock motors are 1.5 to 1. Hope this helps.

Your drives are 1.50 ratio. The cleaver props arent made to come out of the hole like your expecting it too. Try a set of hydromotive quad4 22 pitch and youll think your king of the lake. Ive got a 79 scarab30 and had the same problem.Ive put more motor in the boat so i run quad4x props.26pitch @ 5700rpm. 88mph. We won our class at the shootout last summer and going back this year.
