IV Pachanga
 

I own a '87 32 Pachanga in the Sea ray archives my boat matches whats listed as a IV pachanga, anybody know anything about this?

mmmm no input from anyone, whats so different about my boat from others ive seen is the vents, there are four small ones up high instead of two down low. '89 is the first Sea Ray kept records but the brochure is the same.

What information are you looking for? Sea Ray made 4 Pachanga's back then 19', 22', 27', and 32' so the 32' was the 4th which I believe is the reason for the IV designation.

Depending on options you should have 3 and up to 4 thru hulls on the port side. and 7 on starboard including the horn, this includeds a drain forward if you have A/C. The differences you've seen were likely option related.

I've been trying to find the manufacturer of the vents, I'm missing one. All the other Pachanga's have a different type of vent but in the archives on the Sea Ray site they list a IV pachanga with the identical vents on mine. I was wondering if anyone knew what the difference was.

witch vents are you talking about the engine bay vents,and like estarmer said they have different options as big blocks small blocks paint and so on. i have an 87 32 also

My friends 32 is the same year and his has the same twin 454 setup, his airbox setup is mounted lower and only has two vents per side not sure if the IV is a different option or not.If you go to the sea ray site choose the length that covers the 32 and go to arcives and you can see the picture of the IV

if you can get me a pic of the vents in question I can check some old prints and see if I can get you a part number.

After 4 years I found the vent I was looking for, with no luck looking through old records at the SeaRay dealer a long time mechanic walked up and identified the vent as a cut down version of a common SeaRay vent went to another dealer with NOS stock and they had ONE. Cant belive SeaRay hand cut and fit eight vents on a production boat unless it was a speacial production!!
