Great looking boat! Congrats on the new ride! I just did the same thing--bought a 27 just in time for winter. It's going to be a long winter for both of us!

I have over 500hp in a 22 at a little over 72 GPS.
How many RPM's was it spinning, 7,000?
There is no way it ran anywhere close to 70MPH!
I am looking at a 27 right with Twins Built 454s that will only go 70 on GPS!!!

save your breath calling me out.
wrong guy.
we f'ed with more of these Pacs back in the day than you will most likely ever see.

for one if you have "over 500 HP" in a 22 and are only running 72 something's WRONG
we did a 415/ 502 EFI install in a 22' that matched your GPS number
it's a 20' boat for Christ's sake!

my 330/Bravo 22 ran 67 and small change on radar with regularity.

as far as my 27', those are speedo speeds. I owned the boat from new both bone stock and modified...
it is old news, like 18 years old news...
gained just over 10 MPH with the blower motor
RPM? 5600 there champ.

so your buddy has "built whatevers" in his 27'.
what's that got to do with the performance results in a single?
you'd be suprised how worthless another 1000lbs in the back of a 26' hull is.
not to mention the single wieght on centerline.

get educated

Thanks for the info That's what I would have guessed 55-60 mph with the stock set up. Blower well someday!
