I was told top speed was 68 gps. I blew the drive - a Bravo 1 first weekend out - wasn't even running hard. Upgraded to a XR with a drive shower and haven't had a problem. I've had it to a 60-62 but have been a little scared to push it. I was told the engine was built in the mid-90s. I don't have the cash right now for a rebuild.

I looked @ this boat after i bought mine I love it!! I like the yellow accent. I hear ya on a rebuild $$$$$ out the kazoo!! Once i get my motor back and the drive mounted I'll post more pics too. Great looking boat man!!

Are the last digits on your boat hull I.D.# 88? Yours has the stepped dash I notice and they didn't start that till 1989. Mine is a real early 1988 I know, maybe thats why. Take a look @ the difference my dash is flat. My buddy has a 1990 and we couldnt install the colored bezels because of the dash being steeped out like that. Just curious?

Yeah, last 2 VIN # are 88. I see what you mean with the dash. The previous owner upgraded with some Hardin marine gauges. I like yours - they look great.

Interesting I wonder how many left the factory with the flat dash. I like your gauges too, classy looking pieces!

I was fooling around on ebay and found an 88 with twins with the stepped dash. Maybe the step was put on to allow room for the extra gauges. Who knows, just a thought

Yeah I seen that one, I dunno there is a ton of room under the dash I think they angled them for better viewing because the sun does reflect bad off mine.
