Friend had a 22 with a 351W would do 45. Then installed a M&W turbo kit exhausting through the prop. Instructions stat that through the prop reduces power out put by 40%. It very quietly hit 65 MPH. He then put a BBC in it still running through the prop and a bit faster. I purchased the engine with the turbo kit on it

Cole - you recommend trying a Tempest?
My P22 has a 1.5 B1 drive and a mildly built 502, pushing around 475HP. It used to have 1.36's and would run 74 on GPS, but those gears blew up so I swapped in the 1.5s. I'm running a 25p Rev4 right now - it flies out of the hole and cruises about 44 at 3600rpm, but it won't trim all the way out and I can get 65 at best out of it. I'm trying to find the right 3 blade to get me back up into the 70s.
