Looking for info - 1987 Sundancer 340 w/454s
Greetings,
I have a 1987 Sundancer 340 with the MerCruiser 454s. When I purchased it in the fall of 2023, it did not come with any documentation. I am looking for an owner’s manual and manuals on the various components of the boat.
Also, if anyone is familiar with that model and year and has any insights that they would like to share, I would be greatly appreciative to hear all you have to say.
This is my first “big” boat – well, sort of. I picked up my Carver and this one on the same day. I am very open to any advice you have to offer and information about the best places to get parts and accessories.
Thank you

Sea Ray website is excellent for info on past models.
go to searay.com, scroll down and click on “owners”. Scroll down again and you can find brochures, manuals and other stuff in the archives.
owners manual ‘87 Express and Sundancer….

Original brochure….

Spent some time looking after a 1987 340 Sundancer many years ago. 454’s with V drives. Not very fast but a great entertainer. Big cockpit and pushed through nasty water with ease. I wasn’t the owner, so I didn’t care about the fuel bill. F Fwd to 2024, that’s gonna be significant….welcome to boating!
Enjoy your Sea Ray.

Thank you so very much!I had looked at the Sea Ray site before, however, somehow, I overlooked the manual. Where did you find the brochure?
Both of my boats are rated at less than 1 mpg. 😢And I thought my Jeep was bad at only 18 mpg
