Almost the same, some minor details like handrails and couch shaping. I'm no expert on Scarab III, I bought mine last June, Scarab3DMC or Tinkerer might be able to throw more info on known problems...

Here's one. Mine is '87, I was quessing that the one in your pics is '84-'86. Using the original frame might make it a bit more solid, but then it must be modified to get it lower and less steep...
