cobra drive gaskit question

need some help I have a king cobra out drive I installed a new impeller some times it pumps and some times it dosnt even when the force of the garden hose?????? NOTHING is clogged I noticed that...

I have king cobra drives and just put in a new motor because the motor had a blown head gaskit now I have good water pressure coming out of the impeller but the water is not making it to the motor!...

I have twin blown 350's the only water pump is in the king cobra out drives is that enough? thats the wat the boat was set up and I wonder if thats why the head gaskit was blown

Try some thing simple to find where the noise is comming from start it with your cut valve covers then listen with a piece of hose to your ear to find better WHERE the noise is comming from good...
