Thanks for the comments. Next time I get on the boat I'll snap some pics of the bilge. The engine compartment is red, and has the storage bins on each side. Its how cig did the engine compartment...

yup, and the trim sender wasn't hooked up either....after a day at I figured it out...Also to my dismay I noticed that the deck, brand new windsheild and brand new int was covered in blue paint...

well sometimes its the ends up being the easiest of solutions...the most obvious.....the ones I don't pay too much attention to until I am already totally frustrated. Problem solved it was the trim...

difference between 5.7 mpi and 350 mag?

are both of these engines tuned for 300hp at the prop or is there a difference in hp? Just trying to get a handle on these two engines for a repower. thanks

I'm looking at a 350 chevy that produces 365 hp at the crankshaft. How much less hp do you think it produces through the propshaft of an alpha ss drive? thanks a ton!
