Leave them in! i just took my boat out for the first time after the transom rebuild and it's loud. First 10 min it's badass and after that annoying. I can't imagine being fully straight piped.

After pulling the drive this is what i found. The consistency is thick and its a brownish color. It does not smell like gear lube though.... let me hear your thoughts. Am i good or is it upper seal...
