trim/ drive indicators

I know I posted before abt this but maybe id get a hit this time..... has anyone replaced the cables on their 36 apache? Ive looked over and over for the number written but no such luck.

I was thinking the same... maybe should upgrade...

I was thinking the same... maybe should upgrade the drives first then look for hp??? I sit around 10,000 lbs with 4 blade 26p bravos

Compression ratio is the same. Upgraded to comp hydr roller. Is the bottom end pretty much maxed out... all upper end stuff??

Any suggestions for drives as well??

525sc upgrades???

Looking to get some more power out of the motors with reliability in the mix. Had the lower end done over the summer. new cam rods block etc. Still got the bravo xr's. So I may be limited....

it leans out at just over 3800 rpms. the plugs...

it leans out at just over 3800 rpms. the plugs look a bit white. no blistering on the electrode though. the fuel pressure on both engines shows 4-5 psi (which seems low) and as i get up to 3500-4000...

So blew my starboard 525sc apart (two rods right thru the oil pan and block cracked) in may.... this past weekend finally got her back in the boat and got everything set. I cruised around at 3000 rpm...

mercury 525sc burning oil

hey guys got t-525sc's in my apache and port motor has been cutting out on me. I put fresh royal purple oil in it last weekend (2qts) to top it up. Had it out today and the motor quit on me...
