I will try the buffer and polish first. If not...

I will try the buffer and polish first. If not working I will use a rubbing compound.

There is no gash it is just rubbed dull. I had the boat tied up too tight.

How do I fix bumper rub on my gel coat?

Hi All
Can anyone tell me the best way to fix my gel coat that has been faded where the dock bumpers were rubbing? Tried wax but did no good.
