At wot and top speed I was at 71 mph and 5100. 3 people half fuel and nothing else on the boat. Hey river rat what speed are you getting with decent fuel and people.

I bought a 05 29' fountain with 525efi over the winter and took it out over the weekend for the first time. I took forever to plane out. There was 4 adults 1/2 tank of fuel and really nothing else...

ok TCH I can see why they are there now that you pointed that out. I do not have a true captains call on my exhaust there is no switch or diverter in them so running it through the prop at any time...

I just took off headers and the Y pipe for the silent choice. Why does the inlet of the Y pipe reduce so much. The water passage on the top does not go into here it. It doesn't really seem like it...
