Water exits at the end of the tube. The exit hole looks just like the one in the Gils. If some one wanted dry, weld the exit hole and weld a fitting on outside rear of the tube.

Conner Marine Large Dia TRS Style Risers For Gil Manifolds

One Pair of Conner Marine TRS style Risers.
4 inch ID, 4 1/2 OD, 41 inch long.
They mount to Gil manifolds. Never welded or repaired and in good condition.
