The guy I bought the boat from said they both froze, he had them fixed so it’s possible one didn’t hold. Am I looking for an internal water leak or an external air leak? Forgive my ignorance

Yes they did when I bought the boat at the start of the season. Haven’t tested compression due to the difficulty yet. I’ll try and test the timing on the hose.

BTW: Did you know that the hold down and bolt grounds the distributor housing ? The gasket between the housing and the intake manifold prevents that area from grounding...so...the hold down has to do...
