I think if you start grinding on that exhaust manifold it gonna get pretty thin in a few spots...I might just bevel that edge a touch..I'm not a total boat performance guy , but built race engines...

I got the heads off this AM and the valve is bent on #2 and you can see some scoring on the stem..I kinda 1/2 ass measured it with a dial indicator and it looks like .002 clearance..I'm sending them...

The cam core is billet..They have excellent reviews ..My springs can handle the cam no problem...I don't see why a Summit cam wouldn't last in a marine application? You just need to worry about...

Any you guys have any experience with a Summit 8802 cam in a marine application? The 8802 is pretty close to LT1 factory hot cam....It's about the same numbers as a Comp 270 marine cam, but 200 bucks...
