What kind of gas milage will a 28 or 30 daytona get with 525's?????

I have a 03 30 ft Daytona with bone stock 525's and getting to do some long distance travel on Texas coast. Weather finally breaking and going to take it out this weekend and start my calculations....

I have a 2004 390 Sea Ray motoryacht, aft cabin type boat. twin 480 cummins, boat does 35mph. That's fast for that type boat, just takes 50 GPH to do that!

great info, thanks guys. I have 2 new garmins and both said 92 mph, and a weird note, it also has Livorsi GPS speedo, it said 105. Weird. I trust the garmins more.

thanks dave, I took out the Merc Cruiser book and it talked about the Power Reeduction mode if water or oil presure low or outdrive resv. low. Sure enough, the outdrive resevior was low on starboard....
