We used LS9 steel rods in this build. And an aftermarket LS7steel crank. 12 to 1 pistons and a big cam.

It tough holding the engine WOT running 7200/7400 so we made some changes to keep them...

Redline is 7400. At the end of that pass we are running in 4th gear @ 7250 and 108mph with 100 gallons of fuel. When we burn off the fuel it runs 5 and 6th gear.

The Ettore one was 12mm. When we looked at it the leading edge of the cockpit/lens was 4 ft from the bulkhead.
