Yeah, the Pulse and the TMP...

Re: How Many Cafes Where Made?

Hi CigDaze,

Yes, Plusedrive. It is rudder steered, so you can't carve quite like a Bravo (not very good for the Bravo gimbal housing). Speed is slightly better, so is fuel use. The biggest...

Re: 93 gun at phils

Cecil is from the BVI, not the Bahamas. He has been in the last couple of poker runs here in the VI. I'm not sure, but I think it only finished one. The rest with drive failure. Also, lots if...

Re: Cig Pics Let's See em'

Yeah, well, I know cigs are built tough, but don't think they can break ICE. Just send it down here for the rest of the winter and I'll make sure she runs good for you by the time the ICE MELTS...

Re: Cig Pics Let's See em'

Runs great. Still have to mess with the props some (I'm a little slow, what can I say) but works great. Dirve maintainence is rinse with fresh water and spray the props with WD (the props are 714...

Re: Cig Pics Let's See em'

NJ,

Sold it. Didn't need it with the Pulse. And if (BTW, something that never is on MY boat) you ever have an older person (or really drunk) you can trim the drive down, slide the individual on...

Yes, I have them listed in the classifieds. $1500.00 for BOTH sets. You pay freight (probably $60-$70 a set). These are for CMI elbow tops. Let me know if they will work for you and we can make...

Re: 750's with bravo's

Yes, it is a Jay special. About 2 years ago. Hull was great with no cracks or anything loose. Needed cosmetics. Blew an engine after about 8 months. Did the Pulse at 6 months. I now have a pair...

Re: 750's with bravo's

Depends on your motors. Mine cost 26K less what I sold the old drives for (8K) so net was 18k. That is a complete price including drive, trannys, props, completely new all hyrdo. steering, etc. ...

Re: 750's with bravo's

Hang time,

It is a trimmable surface drive system. Go to www.pulsedrive.net to check it out. Pulse put a drive on a 38 Powerplay with big power running 96+. Ask them about it.

Re: 750's with bravo's

Hi Biggus,

He didn't like the steering. Rudders have a different feel than directional thrust. Plus, there were voids in the transom where the pivot blocks attached that caused problems (I had...

Re: 750's with bravo's

Pulse... Have had mine for 2 years. Drive maintainence = rinse with fresh water after the boat comes out. I do not throttle, ever, even in 6 footers at 60.
