Re: steering alignment over 40mph

Well, I'm not the expert but I have had a problem similar to this. My problem was a worn gimbal ring with play between the steering arm and the gimbal. But if that were your problem you would feel...

Re: Can Not Figure It Out,,Please Help

Re: Can Not Figure It Out,,Please Help

I just reread this post - originally you could sync engines if you reversed props. I wonder if they would sync with your new props? That would have to be a clue. Maybe a hull problem like a hook...

Re: Engine doesn't start. (454 MAG Stock)

So...

Re: Motor Running Hot...Still.. Circulating Pump?

I recently went down this same path - backflushed from sea pump to outdrive and all looked OK. But the problem was the outdrive hose (from transom assembly to lower unit). The hose was collapsing...

Re: loose pivot pin on Bravo 1?

As per Seloc manual thru 1991,
"tighten the two gimbal ring bolts to a torque value of ...for bravo -- 40 ft lbs"
also for hinge pins use torque of 60 ft lb

which is different from US1's Merc...
