Is it on the rev limiter? My 290/525 turns a 27" 5-blade hydro but will bump the rev limiter with 2 people at 79 or 80 mph in cool weather.

CA's speed estimations are right on the money according to what my boat runs on GPS. 290sc 525hp will run 80 if I take all of my crap out of the boat. 77 or 78 with 4 people and a tank of gas.
