Nobody replied to Steve's idea. It would work for me because now if Steve has his boat in the vicinity and I have on a Velocity shirt with his boat on it and someone says "nice boat" I just smile and say thank you, I have really enjoyed it. Technically that is lying by omission but those lies pale in comparison to some I have told.

I had used that one for awhile too.

I'll vote for #6. Been a owner for 20 happy years. Nothing like the feel of a PAD bottom boat.

OK - We have a winner! The modified #6 has won decisively. I very much appreciate everyone's vote and input and I think we've come up with an excellent logo:

1. It immediately draws a strong connection to the Velocity Powerboats logo adhered on our boats.

2. It reflects the current Velocity letter fonts but the inclined letters and "swooped" V helps connect it with the previous trademark style. Afterall, retro is very popular these days!

3. The other nice thing is that it will be easy to cut for vinyl decals and will look nice in a single color. This lack of complexity will allow the logo to be produced quickly and less expensively!

4. Thanks again for your votes and suggestions. I'll make available a high resolution logo upon its completion.
