I noticed a slight seepage/paint bubbling in my HP 500 manifolds (Gill?).
What seems to be freeze plugs, underneath the paint, have philips type slots in the center. Do these unscrew or come out?...

Will these do anything for my 96 500 hp's? If not, any easy/inexpensive hp gains?? Looking for top end over low end performance as I have twins.

500hp Valve Springs ????

Have 96, 35' Fountain with 500 hp's. 200 hours. Was told I should immediately replace valve springs and exhaust valves. Anyone have info on what I should put in for springs, valves, retainers..etc....
