I think when i get home from work i will pull the plugs and try to turn it over by hand...then well pull the starter and look for damage...I am worried becuase i have heard a starter break before...

I am using the starter that I had with the old motor...which was pretty new. I never had to shim it, it alwasy worked fine. I will pull the starter tonight...is there anyway to check the flywheel...

when i was first trying to get the motor before it ever fired up it was fine....then after running for half hour at at 2 thousand rpms i backed it down and it wanted to stall so I was trying to set...

it seems that way becuase once it started the first time after it stalled it seemed to run ok untill it idled to low and stalled again

now I dont' want to turn it over because it seems to grind...

I have a 206 that has a ski hook or tow hook for what I am assuming is to pull a raft at the very back of the boat. Could this be used for wakeboarding or do i have to have one of those big dumb...

no I have not...that price looks good though? I have been looking to get a little more speed out of the 21' formula also so this might be the place to start! plus the colors match my boat lol

I was on my fathers boat the other day and he put the throttles all the way down I noticed that both engines maxed out at 4100 rpms...he is alwasy complaining about how slow the boat is and how much...

high oil pressure

I have high oil pressure in my 1989 350 mag now I know its an old motor with alot of hours so what should I check it runs at 75lbs when idling but then drops to about 40lbs when running...what should...

yes its an alpha 1 and I have it hooked up to a hose with pretty good pressure I am going to try to get to the ramp tommorrow
