If they are the drives with the cone clutch,which I think they are, I have a pair of the same(and a spare) in my Z33 donzi with 509s they are as good as you treat them,dont leave the water to often...

Im not a fiberglass expert by any means but I have just built a 33'step vee,well the mold anyway and then I hired the pros to lay it up.
this is how I did it
Wax mold twice, polish
coat with PVA...
