My 35 runs great in all kinds of water. A little tab below 4,000 RPM keeps her nice and smooth. From what I've read, coupled with my experiences with my 35 lead me to believe both boats are solid...

I've got a Rocket under my 01' 358 and it's been fine. I take it in once a year for some lovin' from a local trailer guy and it held up well.

The jump boxes are a must.

I loaned mine to a fellow poker runner to start his brand new Nortec with a pair of 1500's. I must admit, I laughed just a little bit.

2001 358 For Sale

Hey Guys,

I'm putting my 2001 358 up for sale to move up to a 38.

She's a fresh water boat with 500EFI's with 170 hrs. Rocket trailer included.

She can be seen on the SONIC website home...

Maybe with a full load of fuel, water and gear. Mine weighs 8,400 dry.

Actually, there's another poker run in Jacksonville July 7th & 8th. It's considerably smaller than the Firefighters run, about 30-40 boats, but it's on the St. Johns river which you know...

I've got a 2001 356 with 500 EFI's and it runs between 74 and 75 on a really good day. I'm turing 15 1/4 x 28 labbed Bravo One's. RPM's around 5,000.

I was turning 15 1/4 x 26 labbed Bravo...

I've found the Yamaha EF2800i also works great and it also fits under the passenger drop down seat. Since it's a bit more powerful than the 2000's, it also runs a bunch of household stuff as well. ...
