I have a 1982 hawk 40, just reworked the engine,now 575hp each. What size props are they usually run with? I have 27x16.5 props on it now, only get 60mph or so at 4200rpm, same as when the engines...

It has 107,000 miles and sounds and feels strong. Would you just slap the turbo on or refresh it first? How much for a used banks? Thanks for the info.

Any thoughts on how to crank out 40-50hp more out of a 1994 7.4 diesel? It has no turbo and it was before chips came on the market.
