94 f-350 7.4 diesel

Any thoughts on how to crank out 40-50hp more out of a 1994 7.4 diesel? It has no turbo and it was before chips came on the market.

Go to a junk yard & pick up a Turbo with the after cooler.
Or call BANKS for a new Turbo system.

It has 107,000 miles and sounds and feels strong. Would you just slap the turbo on or refresh it first? How much for a used banks? Thanks for the info.

7.3 buddy...

7.4 is a gas GM engine....

A friend of mine has a '93 7.3 with an ATI turbo (no iintercooler)with 225,000 miles and just beginning to get tired. Of course he's gone through 5 , maybe 6 transmissions
