So they call me today to tell me that they ARE totalling the truck out AND that they are lowering the value because the trans is junk. They want to give me $14,500 for the truck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Insurance Companies are THIEVES and LIARS !!!

There's no way a 10,000 lb boat could cause this much damage to your truck....

October 15th 2006 My truck (while parked) was hit by a 38 foot 10,000 lb boat...

A guy who lives close by there said that he has been trying to get somebody to put in rumble strips there to warn of stop sign, but they won't do it. He says people screech to a stop pretty often...

The guy with the jetboat was me.
I had my t&t backed into the drive you mentioned.
My passenger and I were both outside the vehicle when all this mayham occurred, we were shook up, but thats it....

I wasn't sayin anything bad bout your quote, I was merely puttin the correct info out there to conflict with what the rumors are. They make it seem so cut and dry in the paper "truck runs stop sign"...

Okay guys lets get the story straight.
Yes the boat came off the trailer.
No it didn't flip.
It did travel bout 80-90 feet from the intersection and another vehicle did get hit by the boat.

He didn't just RUN the sign. He tried to stop, but couldn't in time. I hate how the news makes everything so "clean cut"
