All of the layers are stainless, the outer layers are coated with a high temp polymer. They do not have a flattened stainless wire ring. They have embossed beads at all of the critical sealing areas...

That's correct.

The gauge sensor will have a light blue wire going to it. The alarm sensor is the smaller of the two, and has a tan wire with a light blue stripe going to it.

You're thinking of a Loc-Wire gasket... like a Fel Pro 1012. Requires a receiver groove in the head.

1075 is multi-layer steel gasket. No O-ring.

The 1075 Fel Pro is an MLS gasket.

The standard Fel Pro gasket for a 502 is a 1047.

If it's a stock engine, you're probably fine with the 1047.

An Isky 8005A is a direct replacement, and an Isky 8205 is a nice upgrade. The 8205's retail for about $200 for a set of 16, the 8005A's are less than that... not sure what they're quoting you on for...
