Two things that helped me

Agree with what everyone have said thus far.
Things that I did that helped me:
Go to a calm spot, no gas, no steering (centered) and only shift one gear lever forward for a brief second then back...

I agree: MDF + Boat = bad news

MDF will suck up moisture. I did some high/medium end car audio work after college and MDF and moisture do not mix. Even a drop of water will expand the MDF and deform it.
Isn't Will's shop moving...
