Update, compression came back good at 160 in #3 and adjacent cylinder . Hard to reach some of these plugs on a hot engine 🔥
new coil module and we are finally getting 4800 rpm and 54mph, much better...

So I'm in the middle of deleting the cats and finally getting rid of the check engine light. Cats are out, and no more codes for rear o2 sensors since I have installed the maxvolt cat eliminator...

i think the shift to ob's had alot to do with the cat requirement for inboards / i/o's
ob's stayed cheap to make and slap on the back of a boat, kept costs down for...

good news?? sort of. port manifold isnt cracked. had the shop drop it in and check it over thoroughly. no signs of a leak. likely water splashing onto the manifold from side area of the engine...
