labor on Gimbal bearing housing

What would the labor be on R & R on Gimbal bearing housing?I have all the parts. Its a 97 Powerquest 24" prospect. had one shop tell me 20 hours and another 18 hours both 60 dollors anhour.

Gimbal bearing housing broke

had a u joint cap brake and it broke off a piece of the gimbal housing wear the boot claps down will weilding it up hold. Also its a 97 Bravo1 I found a 04 Bravo 1 everything from the transom plate...

mine doing the samething had new ujoints and gimbel bearing put in and it still made the noise i took it out this week end ran all day fine the end of the day something came apart. got home pulled it...

I have a 1997 Brovo 1 with real low hours less then 9 on the whole boat. took the boat out sat. no problem took it out sun. no problem. dont reamber any sound. get home to flush the motor and wash...
