I would say the best two choices would be the 288 Sunsation or the 28 Active Thunder. I think both of these boats are great in rough water. I test drove a new '04 28 AT with a 496HO and was running...

They actually do have very similar paint jobs. If you go the the Active Thunder website and click new boats and the 28 you will see the one with the 525. The HO has a very similar...

I test drove that 28 with the HO, I was hitting 65 GPS without being wideopen, dealer wouldn't let me open it up. Very fast for an HO.

I believe APMBoats has a 28 with a 525 for sale...

Looking for some info. on taxes. Trying to understand the use tax vs. sales tax. It looks like boats and cars have an annual property tax.

$150,000 boat would be $15K in taxes the first year?...

I looked into last year. Statefarm full coverage $850 with the 525. Boating on Hudson River including New York Harbor, Outside of Harbor(Ocean) $1500.

Bikini Lover you are correct, the boat is at Hawkeye. I can't believe they are asking that price for it, you will never be able to sell it in the future.

What an unfortunate accident. I use to boat on the chain after moving to that area not knowing any better. 5' to 6' deep if you are lucky. I only lasted one season. To many idiots with twin 525's...
