Yes, good point, I'm in fresh water, weight savings was my biggest factor, $$ is a factor, the season here is 2 months, I take it out on a few Donzi weekends, or up to a friends...

Found it, took carb apart noticed floats were set way too high, put pressure gauge on fuel line at carb, 9 psi at idle over 15 at 2500, off scale at 3300, checked gauge on my 7.4 litre, 6 psi all...

carter AFB/weber 9780S rebuild help

I've torn down, cleaned and almost have a Weber 9780S carb back together...but have 2 parts from the kit that i cant figure out...

one is a rubber seal maybe 1/4" in diameter, thought maybe...

Sigh...I figured it out...I havent had the rear mounts apart, it looks like the stack of spring, fibre washer etc is in the wrong order, i'll get at that today, I suspect it will cure my alignment...

I'm looking at the 1310, it has the retaining ring on the outside of the u joint, mine are on the inside...unless a 1310 comes with either cap, this is going to require more digging
