Sounds like to me that you got into some bad fuel. Same thing happen to me about 3 years ago. I had to pump off all my fuel and remove tank. I was lucky that my injectors where able to be cleaned....

What would you guys do? Rebuild Gen IV 502 or reman Gen VI 502. Some have said that the Gen VI motor is better and other have said the Older Gen IV motors are better.

Put in at Savana did a 40 mile run to Dubuque and back on Sunday. Very little boats out. It was a sad day last run of the year. Boat is going to GSC this weekend. Thinking about upgrading to a XR...
