I buy it from a company called Fiberglass products, it is called interior gelkoat. I use a gun from harbor freight, with a large orifice, I'll get you links tomorrow.

I also used the 1708, and it was suggsted by a few different boat builders, and glass guys. As far as the stringers, I used 1708, because it was what I had in Stock, but it isnt easy to wrap around...

The Gel may have been more $$ in your area, I just have a REAL good supplier down here. Also, you need a gun with a larger orifice, most standard spray guns wont work.

paint works, I was going to do the same thing, until I found out I could get a GALLON of waxed gel for $35, and a gun to spray it from Harbor Freight for $15:eek::drink:

I agree, pulled my inner layer out in pieces(mulch), and threw it in a wheelbarrow. Second layer(outer) came out in sheets.
